The Ancient Church

Earlier this month my husband taught a week-long Ancient Church History course, which allowed him to nerd out/share one of his passions with the students of Eston College. Being in the Middle East where so much biblical history actually took place has given him a unique perspective and a deep love for the ancient church, so it’s cool that he was able to share what he’s been learning with a new generation of students.
Right now he is spending two weeks in BC’s Lower Mainland speaking and ministering in a few churches. From what I hear, it’s been an awesome visit so far!
Every week we receive great reports from friends and teammates back in the Middle East about the way the Lord is moving. For example, a university professor has encouraged all her students to get a New Testament and invited us to speak to them about different Christian denominations during the Renaissance — not a tactic we imagined using to share the Gospel but we’ll take it!
I am now 35 weeks pregnant so we are counting down the days until the end of bed rest in February when I’ll be free to move around again. So thankful that God has protected this baby and that we are only days away from making it to full-term!
We’re very eager to see how our son reacts to having a sibling and finding out if this new little one is a boy or girl. When we named our son it was prophetically confirmed ahead of time by some friends, so if any of you have a prophetic word or name suggestion for this baby, feel free to send it our way!
