Reaching Out to Ecuador

Greetings to all of you from Ecuador!
Letty and I are excited about some of the recent ministry opportunities that the Lord has made available!
In the fall of 2018, we entered into a partnership with “Compassion International”, and were able to enroll 150 children in the children’s sponsorship program.
In December of 2018, the Lord opened the door for us to be able to rent the above property in Alamor to temporarily house our outreach ministry to children from low-income families. (Until our own facilities have been built.) We have named this ministry “Jardin del Rey” (The King’s Garden).
We are grateful for the opportunity to begin building relationships with all of these children and their parents but are very much in need of prayer. The families here are very resistant to the gospel and we need wisdom in how to reach their hearts and to help them get past the religious barriers that have kept them in darkness for many generations.

Our first Children’s Festival held in Alamor. An exciting day filled with skits, songs, and sharing about God’s love.

We ran out of classroom space and have set up a tarp outside where Letty is teaching our 8-9 yr. class.
Please continue to pray for us. We have been busier than usual: training staff, converting buildings into classroom spaces, building tables, etc.

To the left is the property where we will be building our future church and home for our children outreach ministry. We now have a building permit and all the building plans approved. We are presently in the rainy season. Once this season is over, we plan to start construction.
