6 Challenges for the Church in Missions

Missionaries, missiologists, church and mission leaders at home and abroad have seen both good and bad results of North American missionaries, tentmakers, short-termers, and others representing Christ throughout the world.

They’ve also witnessed a growing difficulty in maintaining an ongoing commitment to world missions in North American churches.

Veteran missions director David Mays lists six challenges the Church faces in missions and then what he calls “practices for maximum global impact” that churches can use to strengthen global workers and build their own commitment to Christ-like mission.
