“It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord and to bless His Holy name!”

Good news! Our church family met on Zoom until two weeks ago. Presently, we are back in our church building honoring the required protocols of wearing masks, hand sanitizing, distancing and trying to limit service time to one hour. Wow! Learning and experiencing a novel way of doing church is quite an adventure. However, we rejoice because persons who were not churchgoers and have not experienced Christ’s saving power joined in. Friday nights’ bible study continues through Zoom. We have folks from various parts of the island asking to join in. We also have a family from the US participating.

All schools were closed from the 1st March. It was the beginning of the third term of school and students’ learning had to be accommodated. This was a chaotic process since schools were not adequately furnished with the needed technology and students also lacked laptops at home. The division of education had to quickly design an effective delivery plan. The strategy adopted was to have lessons taped and aired on the local television station. We were asked to facilitate lessons for the senior classes (Gr. 10-12) Wow! We felt this was the Lord’s doing to further expose our program to the wider community. We had to work diligently in our preparation since this was a new mode for lesson delivery that required Smart Board skills and interactive teaching for television without the presence of students. Our facilitators had no previous training! I would leave the rest to your imagination. Yes, indeed it was an experience! We were very satisfied though with the outcome. We thank God for this continued opportunity to teach Character Building through Biblical principles.

Pray for us

1. For Church growth that God would give us vision and discernment for what and how He would have us do this

2. The Lord would add to us gifted men and women who would grow to serve in ministerial positions

3. School- wisdom for our facilitators as they interact with students. The opportunity for the gospel to be shared and bear fruit

Ps 2:8 says “Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession”

Together lets us trust the Lord to give us the Nations as our inheritance. Thank you for your partnership and continued prayer and support that made this report possible.
