Dear Family and Friends,

Greetings to all of you! We pray you are doing well as we begin this new season of spring and all it brings. We are doing well and are seeing signs of spring all over the place. The trees are blooming and the weather is warming up as well. Ron is very happy about that, lol! 😁

With springtime here, it brings the month of Ramazan or Ramadan.  It is the holiest time of the year in the Islamic calendar. This is the time of year when Muslims are more aware of spiritual matters and they fast for 30 days. Fasting is one of the 5 pillars of Islam. They believe that during Ramazan, they can have a greater consciousness of God if they abstain from many different things like, swearing, smoking, arguing, and they try to be respectful to others. They also must pray 5 times daily—ending May 1st.

Thank you for your continued prayer for us and our family. Many of you have reached out to us and have asked how we are doing because of the war that is happening close to us. We are doing well and do not feel that we are in any danger here at the moment. We know of many refugees that have come here and we are to help with the many needs that people are having as they come here with nothing. We have one new family in our church that fled Ukraine and they are so happy to be here.

Please continue to pray for:

  • our safety
  • our family (we have our children and grandchildren back in Canada)
  • boldness, courage, and opportunities to share the Gospel
  • good health
  • that we will shine our lights brightly in our community
  • wisdom & direction
  • K—as she struggles with reading and writing

The Lord is using us each day and we are so blessed to be able to be here and co-labour with Him. The other day Ron was able to pray for a man’s knees and they were healed! PTL!

We pray the Lord’s blessing to be over each of you.

Ron & Veronica
