People are dreaming of Jesus before they read a bible or meet other Christians, as we see in scripture…
“For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me…”
John 6:44 NLT
It’s stories like these that have me excited to work in the Middle East, walking with new believers as they study the Bible and encounter Jesus for the first time.
As I’m sure you have experienced, it is such a joy to know Him!
I’ll be moving to the Middle East long-term to join the team with Global Harvest already there this fall. The first 1-2 years will be focused on learning language and cultural acquisition, then I’m hoping to work with a program our team is involved with that offers new testaments.
Through the New Testament program, the team is receiving 200 – 450 inquiries a week!
This is leading to more people becoming believers and the team discipling more local believers.
My story…
When I was 12 I felt called to go overseas. It involved a broken arm and a time of listening prayer at camp—long story short!
Since then I’ve sought different opportunities through YWAM, Iris Ministries, and getting an education through Sask Polytechnic and Bible College.
I’ve been working at the Bible College for the past couple of years with the intent to head overseas. There was a group this last year at the college who have all been considering going long-term overseas. We met throughout the year to pray and went to North Africa on a trip this spring.
It was after the trip to North Africa that I felt at peace about going to the Middle East and things began to line up. I am excited to join the team there and have others from the college group join us later on in the year.
I’m so thankful for your support, this is not something I can do on my own. I look forward to the fruit we will reap together friends!
