What Christmas treat would you like to find in your stocking on Christmas morning?

Messages from our children, their spouses, and children. CHOCOLATE.

Christmas usually involves good food! Tell us about a shared meal with someone…

So the very best is sharing the Gospel with a neighbor while sharing tamales and drinking Mexican Ponche.

Tamales are a traditional Mexican dish made with a corn-based dough mixture that is filled with various meats or beans and cheese. Tamales are wrapped and cooked in corn husks or banana leaves, but they are removed from the husks before eating.

Mexican Ponche is a warm and comforting fruit punch made with apples, pears, oranges, and guavas and spiced with cinnamon, cloves, tamarind, and hibiscus typically served at Christmas time.

Can you tell us about something that brings you HOPE?

The thing that brings us the most HOPE is to walk alongside people who are sensitive to God´s Holy Spirit and walk in loving obedience to God´s Word.

How do you keep Christ in Christmas?

We keep Christ in Christmas by sharing God´s Word with Spanish-speaking people.

Thinking back over the year, what has been the stand-out Word from God that keeps showing up in your life?

The stand-out Word from God for us is: “Lo, I am with you” as we “Go and make disciples.”

Merry Christmas!
