✔️Christmas story in the Bible

What Christmas treat would you like to find in your stocking on Christmas morning?

Good quality chocolate.. which is hard to find in Mexico. The kids would love a coffee crisp.

Christmas usually involves good food! Tell us about a shared meal with someone…

Pozole is a soup often served on Christmas or New Years.

Also, ponche is a hot fruit drink made from sugar cane and an assortment of fruit often sipped around a fire.

What is the ugliest Christmas ornament you’ve ever seen?

We prefer simplicity and lots of homemade ornaments. So anything too flashy, on the tree is not for us.

Can you tell us about something that brings you HOPE?

Jesus. Our hope is in knowing Him.

How do you keep Christ in Christmas?

We intentionally celebrate advent to focus our attention on Jesus.

Also, as a family, we look for ways to love others, be generous and serve in our community.

Why was baby Jesus called Saviour? (Luke 2:11)

He is the one waited and longed for—the true “rescuer.”

What is your Christmas miracle?

Last year, around this time, we started praying for a young lady who has been in different orphanages most of her life. We prayed God would give her a family, a safe place to call home and that she would know what it means to be loved.

God answered our prayers and this young lady will celebrate her first Christmas at home with her new Mom. Love has transformed her life, it really is a miracle and a reminder of how Christ’s love also transforms us.

Thinking back over the year, what has been the stand-out Word from God that keeps showing up in your life?

Faithful. He has been faithful to provide in every way and He will continue to do so.

Is there someone that you would like us to pray for over Christmas?

Join us in praying for vulnerable children and that we will continue to witness and be a part of the fulfillment of the word “God sets the lonely in families” ( Psalm 68:6).

Final thoughts…

To God be the glory, as we continue to serve Him.

Merry Christmas!
