Thank you so much for all the prayers and support during these last weeks. We have felt so blessed by you standing behind us with your encouragement and giving. With your support, we (as a team of workers) have been able to help many families as they navigate life after the earthquakes.
During the last weeks, so much has happened, and life has changed drastically. Relief work is still going on and will continue for many months still. The needs have changed since basic food, water, and clothing have been provided. Right now the main needs are providing shelter and sanitation. Alex and a team of men went to an eastern province to help set up large tents and build toilets (pictures attached). Sanitation is a huge need right now because when the buildings collapsed, so did all the bathrooms! Diseases due to waste have started to spread.
Back at home, we have taken in several families over the last weeks. Our city is one of the many cities people are taking refuge in and are now seeking to find a new home, work, and community. We have been privileged to take in people, hear their stories, and bless them however they need.
Once again, thank you for all the support you have given us during this time! We appreciate your prayers for us and for those whose lives have been shattered by the earthquakes.
Until All Know Him,
