The last few months have been filled with joy and sadness, victories, and losses but through it all Jesus has been good, kind, faithful, and loving.
Earlier this year, we marvelled at what the Lord is doing in East Africa during the gathering of 8 nations in Tanzania.
We were blessed to be part of a strategic ACOP East Africa regional conference and witnessed unity and a desire to work together to reach the unreached. The prayer, the love for Jesus, and the resulting obedience to fulfill the great commission was contagious.
The last few months have also been filled with sorrow with the passing of Jerry’s Dad, Lloyd, in December, followed by his Mom, Madalene, in April, and then this August my Mom, Leona, passed into the presence of the Lord. Our parents are healed and whole and with Jesus—their Savior, Redeemer, and Friend!
We are so grateful for loving parents who trained us in the ways of the Lord. They carried the nations in their hearts—that none should perish without Christ. They were our greatest prayer warriors and encouragers.
As we’ve been brought to our knees, we are challenged to go deeper in prayer, to spend extravagant time with Jesus (it’s been so precious), and to steward our time wisely ensuring that we are laying up our treasures in heaven.
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from the Lord”.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
What a promise! We certainly need and feel that comfort now and want to be the hands and feet of Jesus to comfort others. Maybe that’s you today. We are praying that you will feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit and be strengthened in His mighty power.
What a privilege to love and serve Jesus and share the great hope we have in Him!
Fall Outreach & Ministry
This fall, we will be visiting the Middle East. There are open doors and new opportunities in a location we’ve never been before. The harvest is ripe! Thank you for praying for healings, revelations of Jesus, that the gospel would go forth in power, and that He would be glorified in and through us.
In October/November we will be ministering in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and South Africa.
Without your faithful prayer and support, these opportunities to train workers and share the gospel would not be possible. God bless you for your investment in the Kingdom.
