“It’s a dangerous business, Frodo, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don’t keep your feet, there’s no telling where you might be swept off to.”

Happy spring from me to you! I hope things are nice in Canada and that you can get outside and enjoy it. Thank you for the prayer and support, I appreciate it so much.

You’ll see me sooner rather than later, because I’ll be back in Canada from August to September due to the visa issues over here. Lots of thought and prayer has gone into this, and we ask for your prayers as the team over here continues to navigate the visa application process.

In all the uncertainty of this season, I have been pressing into the certainty of Jesus. This is all in His hands.

I am excited to see so many of you very soon – if you want to hang out with me at any point in August and September, please let me know! I’d love to get coffee or food and spend some time catching up with you all!

Recently I reread an old story about revival in the late 40’s and a teenager with a significant calling on his life to pray for others. One day, the man leading this revival came to the teenager’s house and asked if he would come to his meeting because he needed someone to pray. The boy’s mother went up to his room and found him kneeling on the floor praying. When asked if he would come to the meeting, he said “I have an audience with the King right now and I don’t want to leave Him. Can you give me ten minutes?”

I love this story because I am often guilty of doing other things like preparing to speak at meetings or putting emails together instead of simply sitting with Him and praying. There is nothing more precious than an audience with the King, and I want that to be my heart more and more.

My prayer for you, amidst all the craziness of summer and family gatherings, that you would have an audience with the King and hear His voice and fall more in love with Him.
