Thank you so much for your faithfulness in continuing to pray for the Kingdom to advance on these islands. We’ve come through another busy, fruitful season of Ramadan and are seeing answers to prayer in our community.

One specific prayer request was for people to have dreams of Jesus and another prayer that is frequently on our lips is to be led to open doors where God is already working. Through engagement at our English Centre and having people in our home, those prayers are being answered!

A lady was very open about a dream she had of Jesus and her desire to find out what the Bible says about Him. We’ve been able to meet several times since then and have given her Scripture so she can seek out the Truth. Praise the Lord for dreams, visions, and open hearts!

The indigenous Church continues to grow and we now have 10 local men who have committed their lives to following Jesus. Praise the Lord for the growth of His Church!

We’ve also seen barriers fall and a new willingness of people to open their homes to us. It’s taken over 2 years of consistency (and time) to build the trust needed for people to invite us in but we’re getting there! We’ve been introduced to family networks and met some of our students’ families for the first time during this year’s Ramadan. Praise the Lord for open doors!

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”

John 15:4-8

We know that we are nothing and can do nothing without the Lord. We continue to fix our eyes on Him and walk in obedience to what He has called us to do in this season. To Him be all honour, glory, and praise!

Together for the Kingdom,
