ACOP Rugare, friends travelled from near and far, for a beautiful dedication service of this vital church in honour of Rev. Stan Powers. A plaque was added to the building that reads:
THE SITE IS DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF
REVEREND STAN POWERS
PASTOR, TEACHER, MISSIONARY AND MENTOR TO THE NATION OF ZIMBABWE
AUGUST 2025
The Stan Powers Memorial Fund was initiated out of Stan’s passion for the ministry of ACOP in South-Central Africa. Stan engaged in pastoral training and leadership development and was an advocate for the construction of church buildings and other infrastructure projects that would create sustainability in African communities.
ACOP Rugare has a new roof thanks to your generosity to the Stan Powers Memorial Endowment Fund for African Ministries. We are so grateful for all God has done in South-Central Africa!
