The continent of Africa encompasses over fifty different countries, making it one of the largest continents in terms of numbers. The cultural diversity and belief system in Africa is just as broad and expansive as the continent itself.

Approximately 80% of the population occupying the west and central regions of Africa are living amongst unreached people groups. Idolatry, voodoo and ancestor worship are just a few of the religious practices that can be found in these regions. Islam has a firm foothold in the north, east and parts of the western regions and continues to expand. Plenty of work remains in order to spread the gospel throughout every corner of Africa.

The task in Africa is to continue sending Global Workers who will go into places where people have yet to be reached with the gospel. Furthermore, it is vital that the established church in the south and other regions of Africa can be equipped and released to reach into the northern regions, so that they may reach their unreached neighbours with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Asia is a continent comprised of twenty-six different countries, each with their own unique culture and history. The people of Southeast Asia, for example, have a rather diverse religious culture; at one point in time believed in Hinduism before becoming conforming to Buddhism. Presently you will find a combination of Buddhists and Muslims residing in Southeast Asia.

Central Asia fell under Soviet rule for over seventy years and Korea has been considered the second largest sending base for Global Workers in the world. Presently you will find Buddhists, Hindus, Muslims and the non-religious residing throughout Asia, and while the gospel is slowly making inroads across the continent, there is still much more work to be done.

The task in Asia is to continue sending long-term Global Workers, who will live among the people in order to bring the gospel to the millions of unreached people living in the various regions. The Asian church has already begun rising up to this challenge and we have the unique privilege of working alongside them to complete this task.

The various regions of Europe are divided between the East and the West, with the difference between each of them being rather significant. The countries located in Western Europe are presently experiencing a time of unprecedented peace, however ethnic fragmentation is quite apparent.

Eastern Europe only slightly differs as a good portion of the population struggles with the reduction in their quality of life. Both regions are currently facing a time of confusion and are seeking answers to a multitude of questions. Now more than ever, the gospel is needed, to answer those questions and quell their confusion.

The great task in Europe is to continue mobilizing the established church so that they may reach the masses of migrant workers and the diaspora among them. Enabling them to send their own Global Workers to the least-reached people groups in unreached frontiers both in Europe and beyond.

Comprised of three of the world’s largest countries, North America is considered one of the biggest sending bases of Global Workers. As a proud, multicultural society, North America has multiple different ethnic groups and has the least amount of religious discrimination in the world.

Despite the fact that North America is considered one of the more prosperous continents, there is just as much work that needs to be done here as there is anywhere else in the world. With so many different ethnic groups residing in North America, it’s like having the entire world right in our own backyard.

One of the greatest tasks in North America is to reach the diaspora/immigrant population residing within our borders and to motivate and mobilize churches to go, with the gospel, to the least-reached-people groups of the world who are unable to come to us.

Among the twenty-two countries in South Central America, there has been rapid growth and maturation regarding global missions. This growth has sparked a multitude of initiative from various countries to reach out to the least-reached people groups.

Even now, as the gospel is slowly spreading throughout the continent, there are still multitudes of unreached people in South Central America. Some of whom are completely isolated due to language barriers or geographical location and in some cases both.

The task in South Central America is to come alongside and assist in equipping the already established church to help them reach the various least-reached people groups that may still be nearby as well as the millions who live on other continents.
